Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

printIngredients: (Makes 9 biscuits)

Biscuits:

2 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
4 tbsp cold Butter
1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
3/4 cup cold Milk
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

Topping:

2 tbsp Butter, melted
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
pinch Salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Combine Bisquick and cold butter. Leave larger pieces. There should be small chunks of butter pea sized. 2.jpg
  3. Add cheddar, milk and 1/4 tsp garlic.
  4. Mix by hand until combined, but don’t over mix. 3.jpg
  5. Drop 9 equal portions onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
  7. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a bowl.
  8. Stir in garlic powder and parsley flakes. 4.jpg
  9. Spread garlic butter on top of biscuits.

I’ve always been a fan of anything to do with Starbucks but these Berry Bliss bars are one of my favorites from them! They are sweet but not too sweet and perfect for a breakfast or mid morning snack. I love making these at home since I don’t always go to Starbucks and everyone that tastes them, loves them!

Copycat Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

INGREDIENTS:

Cake:

  • 3/4 cup melted Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped Dried Cranberries
  • 6 oz chopped White Chocolate or White Chocolate Chips

Frosting:

  • 8 oz softened Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 6 oz melted White Chocolate
  • 1/2 cup chopped Dried Cranberries 5
  • 2 tsp Grated Orange Zest  2

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while beating.
  6. Stir in the cranberries and chocolate. 3
  7. Spread the batter into the prepared pan. 4
  8. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool completely.
  10. Beat the cream cheese, orange zest and powdered sugar until well-blended.
  11. Slowly add about half of the melted chocolate while beating.
  12. Frost the bars and sprinkle with cranberries.
  13. Transfer remaining chocolate to zippered sandwich bag and clip corner to pipe.
  14. Drizzle white chocolate over top.
  15. Refrigerate for at least one hour then cut into triangle shapes.
